Born in Toronto, Ontario, Cory started playing keyboard at the young age of four, followed by a drum kit, percussion and guitar at the age of eight.  A graduate of the Audio Recording Accademy in 2008, Cory has deep family roots in music as his great grandfather played percussion and many other instruments in the Toronto Symphany Orchestra.  On TomCattt's debut album Hiiyaaaaaaaaaaa, Cory is the contributing dummer on New Love, I'm So Slow, With You, Hiiyaaaaaaaaaaa, Shy and You Can't Hide From Yourself.
